Job Description

Summary:  Architect and implement a corporate culture and recruitment strategy for ReaderLink. Spearhead initiatives related to the Company’s internal and external branding, as well as the ongoing training and performance evaluation of employees throughout the enterprise.


Essential Functions: 

  • Work with a crosscut of employees throughout the enterprise to design a corporate culture that will form the basis of ReaderLink’s internal and external brand.
  • Leverage the ReaderLink website, along with social media outlets such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, etc. to build awareness of our organization among employees, recruits, vendors, and retailers.
  • Lead ongoing employee recruitment efforts including job postings, career fair and college visits, etc.
  • Institutionalize and expand the ReaderLink internship program.
  • Coordinate ongoing training efforts including employee mentorship, shadow days, distribution center visits, and information workshops to build employees’ understanding of departments outside of their purview.
  • Recalibrate performance review system to focus on professional development and increase employee engagement, as well as the ease of performance analysis.
  • Produce a quarterly e-newsletter featuring company achievements, industry insights, birthdays/child announcements/anniversaries, "employee spotlight" sections.
  • Organize company-sponsored book clubs, interest groups, and volunteer days.

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business, or related field is required.
  • Minimum 10 years professional experience with 5 years in employee recruitment/training is required.
  • Prior experience in corporate culture implementation/social media engagement required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is required.
