Job Description


The SharePoint-Administrator will be responsible for SharePoint communication services. These responsibilities include ensuring the availability of SharePoint at all of Readerlink’s facilities as well as the continuous improvement of SharePoint.

Essential Functions:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position:

• Working with IT management, evaluate and implement new sites to improve productivity and operational efficiencies.
• Administer SharePoint Intranet.
• Prepare documentation and preform end user training.
• Perform Custom Application Development utilizing SharePoint.
• Monitor backups and perform periodic restore testing.
• Troubleshoot day to day operational issues with SharePoint.
• This position will also be the backup person for Windows server environment, including general support, configuration, troubleshooting and for general help desk support of a Windows user environment.
• Collaborate with other IT Support Personnel to assist in problem resolution.
• Other duties may be assigned, directed or requested.

Job Requirements


• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience SharePoint Administration. Experience with version 2013 a plus.
• Experience with .Net and C# Development. A plus.
• Experience with JavaScript. JQuery experience a plus
• Certified in Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Configuring
• Certified in Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Administrator
• Experience with SharePoint Managed Metadata.
• Practical understanding of Web Technologies, Active Directory and Windows.
• Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to follow procedures, update documentation etc.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to speak with all levels of the organization, ability to read and interpret, and also to prepare documents such as instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and task simultaneously.

• Must be able to sit for 5 hours per day
• Will frequently have repetitive hand/arm movements for simple reaching and or typing
• Specific vision ability required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
• Regularly required to stand; use hands and fingers, and handle or feel objects

Language Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English, analytical skills and the ability to explain complicated information to others that may not be knowledgeable about the subject matter are necessary.
